Colophon
About this site
This site has been designed as part of my first Typography and interaction Project 'Manuscript', under the guidance of Michael Fehrenbach and Rijk Van Zanten at the Parsons School of Design in New york.
Typography
This website uses Helvetica, originally known as Neue Haas Grotesk, a widely used sans-serif typeface designed in 1957 by Swiss typeface designers Max Miedinger and Eduard Hoffmann, as its primary typeface.
The secondary typeface used is 'Bodoni 72', first designed by Giambattista Bodoni in the late eighteenth century. However, if certain systems do not have access to 'Bodoni 72', the website will then default to 'Bodoni Moda', a beautiful take on the classic Bodoni by designer Owen Earl
Design
The design of this website is inspired by and based on The Vignelli Canon, a seminal book by renowned Italian-American designer Massimo Vignelli. The book encapsulates his timeless principles of design and typography, focusing on simplicity, clarity, and functionality, which have been interpreted and adapted to guide the structure, layout, and aesthetic choices of this website.
